This lovely flute was manufactured by the K.G. Gemeinhart company. Kurt Gemeinhardt was a fourth generation musical instrument maker who immigrated from Germany to Elkhart, Indiana in 1928. His company is known through out the world for their precision-made flutes. This 1970's flute is nestled in it's original black hard-shell case lined with a rich blue velvet interior. It is in good used condition with minor scratches in the finish and 3 tiny dings to the head piece. ( Please review photos) The keys operated smoothly, and the pads appear to connect properly. It was last conditioned in 2009. Case has initials LVN on it but they are barely visible. And did show up in photos It is engraved with the Gemeinhardt logo and numbered "M2-A37723."
