Electrical/Mechanical Inspector A


including, but not limited to the following:

  • Able to read, interpret and utilize blue prints, drawings, and specifications documents in performance of inspections and testing.
  • Knowledge of electrical circuits and experience with reading electrical schematics.
  • Should be adept in setting up and utilizing visual, mechanical and electrical measurement and test equipment such as calipers, height gages, CMMs, digital voltmeter, capacitance checker, digital oscilloscope, x-ray equipment and spectrum analyzer in performing incoming inspection verifications.
  • Capable of performing soldering/electronic assembly workmanship inspection to military and commercial standards (e. g. J-STD-001; IPC-A-610).
  • Conduct first article inspections to AS9102 requirements; will be required to support inspection and first article inspections at supplier's facility.
  • Inspect electronic components for possible counterfeit conditions such as black top, ghost marking, construction degradation, functional deviations and evidence of prior use.
  • Will be required to support inspection and first article inspections at supplier's facility.
  • Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing.
  • Working knowledge of electrical circuits and reading electrical schematics.
  • Follow the sequence of inspections and tests, deal with the RI workflow and support the activities of other inspectors.
  • Able to provide input to Supervisor, Senior Inspector and Supplier Quality Engineers to support MRB disposition process, including failure mechanism and noncompliance to documented specifications.
  • Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support the coordination of calibration of inspection test equipment and fixtures.
  • Monitor/maintain critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and calibration.
  • Provide input to SQA Engineers in the creating and updating inspection procedures, protocol and checklists.
  • Report observations and possibly make recommendations to Supervisor and Senior Inspector regarding supplier quality problems.
  • Support lower level inspectors as required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
