Construction Project Manager

Job Description

Scope of Position:

The Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and managing multiple projects simultaneously to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished on time and within budget.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of construction activities, scheduling, budget management, and communication

  • Manages day-to-day client interaction and expectations for multiple and/or large-scale projects

  • Providing estimates and budgets, contract negotiation, reviewing plans, vendor coordination, site visits, managing schedules and overseeing the bidding processes

  • Review blueprints and/or gathering information for the project scope of work.

  • Point of contact for the client and updates the client on project milestones throughout all phases of the project

  • Negotiate and prepare contracts, develop and monitor schedules and coordinate with GC's

  • Update the internal as well as the client software management system throughout all phases of the project


  • 4 year degree or 3+ years of experience in construction project management

  • National retail & facility maintenance experience preferred

  • Strong customer service and management skills

  • Excellent Time management skills

  • Internet savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Organized & detail oriented

  • Experience working with & managing sub-contractors

  • Must be creative and think outside the box

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
