Human Resources Generalist

Job Description

We are currently looking for a motivated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to add to our growing team. This position will be responsible for a broad range of HR responsibilities with the main focus on recruiting.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute effective full life-cycle recruiting for various level positions.

  • Liaise with Payroll department and provide information for weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing

  • Supports building and developing employer branding.

  • Benefits administration/data entry, reconciliation, assisting in benefit related projects, audits and design.

  • Assist in developing facility programs and activities that enhance employee engagement and positive employee relations.

  • Responsible in creating/maintaining various HR documents and communications.

  • Manage on boarding and off-boarding process.

  • Facilitating and/or participating in cross functional groups to develop key initiatives to improve organizational performance.

  • Adopt, participate and comply with company policies, procedures and safety programs.

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information discreetly and professionally.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor's Degree + 3-5 years of HR experience

  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High tolerance for ambiguity and change

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Thorough knowledge of federal and state laws in employment, benefits administration and HR principles and practice.

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

  • Experience with Paychex a plus!

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
