Sales Assistant

Dane Street is looking for highly motivated candidates to join our Account Management team in New York. We are seeking qualified candidates in the greater NYC area. Dane Street offers an exciting work environment, competitive compensation and a strong growth potential.
The Sales Assistant is in the center of our critical relationships with our clients, our technical team and our operations teams. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for generating revenue by managing and growing existing client relationships and identifying and developing new accounts.
Individuals should possess the right balance of relationship-building skills and motivation to significantly impact Dane Streets sales growth targets within the local market.
Required Minimum Education/Experience:
4-year College degree (BA/BS)
Auto OR Workers Compensation Claims experience (Required)
ME or Managed care sales experience is a plus
Description of Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Assists the Sr. account manager with retrieval of records and radiology films
Manages a small book of auto and Workers Compensation clients
Initiates sales process by scheduling appointments, making initial presentation and understanding account requirements.
Recommends new products and services by evaluating current product results and identifying needs to be filled.
Documents all sales and account activities and results in the Dane Street CRM
Updates job knowledge by participating in industry opportunities such as conferences and seminars.
Other duties as assigned dependent on the needs of the business.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is a must

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
