The Relationship Assistant provides sales and servicing support to 2-3 Corporate Banking Relationship Managers by assisting with all client servicing needs and supporting the sales process. The primary function is to service Corporate Banking clients with excellent customer service which includes answering client queries and completing administrative work to process loan and deposit requests. The secondary function is to support the sales process and business development prospecting of Relationship Managers including managing prospect lists and organizational tasks.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance to government regulations, banks policies & procedures, and management policies
Provide external customer support for inbound servicing inquiries related to any of the client accounts including loans, deposits and cash management
Support sales process by assisting in the management of sales prospect lists and the scheduling and maintenance of client appointments
Pull reports for RM and management team as necessary
Assist less experienced Relationship Assistants with work process and policies & procedures
Administer all core processing tasks related to client accounts on behalf of the Relationship Managers.

At least 3 years of experience in a commercial lending environment and/or experience with loan documents or loan processing
Knowledge of commercial lending
Knowledge of banking systems
Experience with Microsoft Word & Excel
Ability to function as part of a team in a fast paced, frequently changing environment
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to efficiently and effectively resolve moderately complex issues
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail to maintain data integrity
Ability to work efficiently and complete projects assigned in a timely manner
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
