Urgent Care Supervisor

Serve as an on-site resource to support patients, staff and providers;

Ensure staff are working productively andprofessionally throughout all working hours;

Ensure that office facilities and equipmentare being maintained according to company standards;

Ensure implementation and enforcement ofcompany policies and protocols;

Reconcile daily payment collections; makebank deposits and file reports

Maintain inventory of office and medicalsupplies;

Complete monthly staff schedules and provideor arrange for coverage as needed;

Review and approve employee payrolltimecards;

Assist wherever needed to best facilitatepatient flow and completion of staff daily checklists;

Review staff work regularly; address issuesand provide feedback as needed

Communicate strongly with management dailyregarding site and staff issues

Respond to all correspondence in a timelymanner;

Escalate staff, patient or facility issues toupper management as necessary;

Collaborate with management on staff reviews,feedback and disciplinary action;

Facilitate billing inquiries from patients;address billing/coding issues with staff or providers

Assist with special projects as assigned bymanagement and administration

Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Managementor related field preferred

2 years of experience with administrativework and customer service OR 2 years of progressive experience in a medicaloffice environment

Knowledge of medical insurance plansincluding managed care plans

Ability to work independently, accurately andefficiently

Ability to collaborate with others, delegatetasks, work as a part of a team and communicate strongly with management

Strong decision-making, problem-solving andcommunication skills

Strong computer skills including MicrosoftOffice Suite, Internet research and computer navigation; experience with EMRpreferred


Must be willing to work evenings, weekendsand holidays as needed

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
