50 an hour Job Summary Family Service League is looking for multiple per diem advocates to work in our Huntington, Bayshore, Brentwood and Port Jeff homeless shelter locations during all shifts, including weekends.
Responsibilities include:
Building productive relationships with clients, ensuring proper boundaries with clients, serving meals to clients, conduct rounds for safety, maintain post assigned and ensure appropriate communication with other team members, transport clients in vans as needed, responsible for ensuring client safety at all times, proving crisis intervention an de-escalation techniques as needed.
Qualifications and Skills High School Diploma or GED.
Valid NY State Drivers License.
Prior experience working in a homeless shelter is preferred.
Good interpersonal skills, teamwork, problem solving and flexibility are also required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
