Accounts Receivable Analyst

This position is responsible for creating and sending monthly and quarterly invoices, including keeping track of payments and maintaining analyses to track invoices sent.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit Grant and Contract claims to various funding sources.
Communicate and follow-up regarding disallowances on claims.
Maintain analyses to track expenses against budgets.
Keep the Supervisor, Controller and CFO informed regarding any problems or issues.
Complete other less complex financial tasks as required.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or similar field is required.
A minimum of 1 year of related accounting experience, preferably in a non-profit environment preferred.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel, required.
Familiarity with accounting software, along with knowledge of databases and ability to write data extraction queries preferred.
Ability to extract, analyze, summarize, and present data required.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills required.
Strong attention to detail, including the ability to solve complex problems and manage multiple priorities, required.
