Family Service League is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to be an integral part of the monthly, quarterly, and annual analysis and reporting processes in the Finance Department.
This position is responsible for various financial oversight functions that come with working at a nonprofit organization.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit Grant and Contract claims to various funding sources.
Communicate and follow-up regarding disallowances on claims.
Maintain Salaries and FTE analysis for program reporting.
Monitor program performance by comparing and analyzing actual results against budgets.
Keep the Supervisor, Controller and CFO informed regarding any problems or issues.
Complete other less complex financial tasks as required.
All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field required.
Minimum 1 year of related accounting experience, preferably in a non-profit environment preferred.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office required.
Must possess a demonstrated working knowledge of Excel.
Familiarity with accounting software, along with knowledge of databases and ability to write data extraction queries ipreferred.
Ability to extract, analyze, summarize, and present data is required.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills required.
Strong attention to detail, including the ability to solve complex problems and manage multiple priorities, is required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
